Leslie is the author of the newly published murder mystery, Sins of the Border, which is described as a fast-paced ride from Arizona high society to the fringes of the Mexican border. Sins of the Border examines the empty lives of the Scottsdale wealthy, as well as the desperate lives of Mexican immigrants. Leslie is currently at work on her second murder mystery, and has been published in magazines and newspapers, such as Highlights for Children, Skipping Stones, Listen, Positive Teens and The Arizona Republic. Leslie is active in several community organizations, including No Mas Muertes (No More Deaths)and Chances for Children-AZ.
